What is Palmistry?
Palmistry has been around for thousands of years, with systems found across cultures. Its study and presentation are a cultural reflection of the reader and their teachings. Naturally, several factions of palmistry have emerged over the centuries, each reflecting the norms, values, and ideals of that culture.
Kore Changes unites the Greco and Vedic roots of palmistry with the modern contexts of Europe and North America.
The Greek name for palmistry is Cheirosophy, and is frequently used in western branches of palmistry. Cheirosophy is divided into two principal sections: Cheirognomy and Cheiromancy. Cheirognomy interprets the shape, structure and outward formation of the hand, while Cheiromancy is the science of reading the the lines and formations in the palms.

Regardless of the title, the patterns in the hand mirror one’s changing attitudes, perceptions, personalities, tendencies, and experiences (the lines change as our identity does). It is a living language, that can be learned and applied to individuals, families, teams, and organizations, for several purposes:
- verify the interconnectedness between how you feel, what you think, and what is manifest
- create a sense of clarity and goal-setting during times of personal, professional, or organizational transition
- develop connections between team members / clients that build trust and synergy
- enhance understanding between members of a family, circle of friends, or organization
- gain insights to the personality and tendencies of your family, client group, or target market

Palmistry for Developing High-Functioning Teams
In a group setting, individual archetypes present in the palm and offer a dynamic and informative tool for connecting around a team’s individual and collective culture. A series of group activities draw on individual and team hand patterns to: Support team formation by developing team identity and membership; Build trust by enhancing mutual regard, forthrightness, and exchange; Strengthen performance by addressing disharmonies, increasing synergy and alignment, and incorporating feedback processes; Renew team dynamics by recognizing and celebrating team dynamics, and refreshing connections.
Palmistry for VIP/Corporate Events
For larger events, palmistry is provided as a unique and memorable synergizer for groups of up to 10 people at a time. Guests connect on communication styles, personality traits, talents and tendencies. Readings are informative, non-invasive, and leave guests chatting more comfortably on points of interest or similarity. Great professional ice-breaker for groups who do not know each other! Following the event, the hosting company receives a report on participant characteristics to assist market awareness and future client communications / strategies ($300/hr).
Individual Palmistry Consultation
Full 90-minute consultations are offered at the Village Healing Centre on Roncesvalles, in Toronto. The reading involves creating a computer scan and a hand-written “map” of your palm, followed by a 60-90 minute discussion and interpretation of your hand. The discussion is an in-depth verbal description of your palm, and outlines health, transformational events, career options, satisfaction and purpose / direction in life. It also includes a translation of types and degrees of stresses, personality characteristics, energy levels in different areas of life, and protective / threatening patterns emerging or dissolving. The “map” is simply a tracing of your hand on paper, and detailed descriptions, suggestions, and insights hand-written in a range of colours across the palm. The result is a map of your journey which you can refer to in the months and years to come. This map, coupled with the computer scan and verbal discussion, aim to give you an unparalleled palmistry experience and bring you closer to understanding your hands in a whole new light!
- $100 per 90 min. session;
- Book with a friend for a 2nd 90 min. session and receive a complementary Reiki Session (booked at a later date);
- Purchase a palm reading and a Reiki Session for $200 and receive a complementary Reiki or Palm reading.

Private Functions
Readings and workshops can be offered to smaller groups in a variety of formats, to accommodate varying ages, venues, and styles:

- Girls’ night in / spa night
Individual readings for small events are between 15 and 45 minutes each, depending on the number of guests and the event duration ($200/3hr).
Palmistry Learning Series
Palmistry is a language and as such, can be taught. One-on-one and group palmistry instruction is offered in 3 levels at the Village Healing Centre (240 Roncesvalles) Level 1 & 2 are 7 hrs each, and cost $250 per Level inclusive of all supplies. Level 3 is 11 hours for $350, and subsequent tutorials are $20/hr.
